(a) Data Governance Program - the program established pursuant to the requirements of Texas Government Code § 2054.137(b)(2).(b) Data Management Officer - the full-time employee designated by the state agency or institution of higher education to fulfill the statutory duties required by Texas Government Code § 2054.137(b). A state agency or institution of higher education is only required to designate such an employee to the extent that it meets the statutory requirement to do so.(c) Data Maturity Assessment - the assessment of an agency's data governance program required by Texas Government Code § 2054.137(b)(2) that is conducted by the designated data management officer.
