Providers seeking reimbursement from the Texas Medical Assistance (Medicaid) Program for covered mammography screening and diagnostic services, must meet the registration and accreditation requirements of the department's Bureau of Radiation Control and Compliance, the recognized accrediting body for the state under the provisions of the Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992, Public Law 102-539.
