(a) Only those drugs and Limited Home Health Supplies listed in the latest edition of the Texas Drug Code Index (TDCI) are covered by the program and are payable. Venosets, catheters, and other medical accessories are not covered and are not included when claiming for intravenous and irrigating solutions.(b) The Commission may limit coverage of drugs listed in the TDCI. Procedures used to limit utilization may include prior approval, cost containment caps, or adherence to specific dosage limitations recommended by manufacturers. Limitations placed on the specific drugs are indicated in the TDCI.
