(a) A Medicaid eligible individual whose request for services is denied or is not acted upon with reasonable promptness, or whose services are terminated, suspended, or reduced, is entitled to an HHSC fair hearing per Chapter 357, Subchapter A, of this title (relating to Uniform Fair Hearing Rules).(b) An individual receiving services through enrollment in a managed care organization may also appeal with the managed care organization per §353.415 of this title (relating to Member Complaint and Appeal Procedures).
