(a) An organization in which peer specialists deliver services must provide supervision for peer specialists as described in §354.3103 of this division (relating to Supervision of Peer Specialists).(b) In order to be reimbursed by Medicaid for peer specialist services under this subchapter, an organization must:(1) be a Medicaid-enrolled provider in Texas;(2) comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations;(3) bill for covered peer specialist services in a manner and format prescribed by HHSC; and(4) maintain documentation as specified in the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual.
