Except insulin, nonlegend drugs and nutritional products are not reimbursed when dispensed to recipients in nursing facilities and other institutions where those drugs are included in the reimbursement formula. Also, these drugs are not allowed to be charged to a recipient or a person authorized to act for the recipient.
