(a) When a provider has been excluded, the department notifies, as appropriate, the applicable professional society, board of registration or licensure, and federal or state agencies about the findings made and the actions imposed according to federal requirements of the Act.(b) The department also notifies providers, recipients, and the public about providers being excluded, through procedures established by the department.(c) All department offices that maintain provider lists are promptly notified.
