As a condition of a child's eligibility for MBIC, a parent of an applicant or recipient living in the same household as the applicant or recipient must apply for, enroll in, and pay any required premiums for an employer-sponsored health insurance plan, if the parent's employer:(1) offers family coverage under a group health plan that covers the applicant or recipient; and(2) contributes at least 50 percent of the total cost of annual premiums.
