SECTION/RULE §366.627 - Resident of an Institution for Mental Diseases

A person who lives in an institution for mental diseases, as defined in 42 CFR §435.1010, is eligible for Medicaid payment for Medicaid covered services received only while residing in the institution for mental diseases to the extent allowed by federal law.
