(a) The federal government and the State of Texas provide the funding for the TANF Program. The State of Texas fully funds the TANF State Program.(b) The federal government provides most of the funding for SNAP and the State of Texas funds the rest. Federal funds pay for SNAP benefits and for one-half of the administrative costs. The State of Texas pays the other half of the administrative costs.
