SECTION/RULE §372.301 - Domicile Requirements for TANF

(a) Each person the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) includes in a TANF case for benefits must live in the household, unless HHSC has determined the person is temporarily out of the home.(b) An unmarried minor parent must live in an adult supervised setting, as determined by HHSC, to be eligible for TANF benefits.(c) HHSC may consider a person to be living in the household even though the person has entered a nursing facility, so long as HHSC determines the person's stay in the nursing facility is temporary.
