SECTION/RULE §372.453 - Requesting a TANF Time Limit Exemption

A TANF recipient must request a time limit exemption:(1) in the case of a severe personal hardship as described at §372.452(a)(2)(A) of this division (relating to TANF Time Limit Exemptions), within 90 days after:(A) the date the personal illness or injury began; or(B) the date the recipient is needed to care for a close family member;(2) in the case of a county hardship as described at §372.452(a)(2)(B)(i) of this division, at any time during the recipient's five-year period of ineligibility; and(3) in the case of an employment hardship as described at §372.452(a)(2)(B)(ii) of this division, within 90 days after the date that the recipient exhausts the TANF time limit, loses a job, or experiences a reduction in work hours.
