(a) The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) identifies potentially eligible Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients and mails them a simplified application.(b) To apply, the SSI recipient completes and signs the application, and submits the simplified application to the HHSC Centralized Benefit Services unit.
