(a) All payments on estate recovery claims must be made payable to the "Texas Medicaid Account for Long-Term Care," and must be sent to MERP, P.O. Box 13247, Austin, Texas 78711.(b) HHSC MERP may compromise, settle, or waive any claim that does not qualify for an undue hardship waiver upon good cause shown. Interest on the unpaid portion of any claim is the same as the amount provided under §2251.025(b), Government Code.
