SECTION/RULE §386.106 - What is Other Needs Assistance (ONA)?

ONA provides grants to disaster victims who have serious disaster-related needs and necessary expenses in the following categories:(1) personal property, such as repair or replacement of:(A) furniture;(B) appliances;(C) clothing; and(D) medical personal property;(2) transportation, such as repair or replacement of privately owned vehicles;(3) medical and dental expenses incurred due to disaster-related injuries;(4) funeral expenses incurred due to a disaster-related death;(5) moving and storage expenses to avoid additional disaster damage to personal property; and(6) other disaster-related expenses, such as the purchase of a Group Flood Insurance Policy.
