SECTION/RULE §386.205 - What types of personal property are eligible for grant assistance?

(a) Grants are available for the following types of personal property expenses:(1) clothing;(2) household items, such as furnishings or appliances;(3) tools, specialized or protective clothing, and equipment required by an employer as a condition of employment;(4) computers, uniforms, schoolbooks, and supplies required for educational purposes; and(5) repairing, cleaning, or sanitizing eligible personal property items.(b) FEMA establishes allowances for furniture, appliances, and clothing.
