SECTION/RULE §386.308 - How will I be notified of the grant decision on my application?

A grant eligibility determination letter will notify you of the decision on your application. The decision letter normally is mailed the day after the decision is made.(1) Letters approving grants include:(A) a grant approval statement;(B) the grant amount;(C) the purpose for which the grant is approved;(D) the notification of the right to request reconsideration of a grant decision; and(E) flood insurance requirements and conditions when applicable.(2) Letters disapproving grants include:(A) a statement that the application is denied;(B) the reasons for denial; and(C) notification of the right to request reconsideration of a grant decision.
