SECTION/RULE §20.335 - Form and Contents of Special Pre-Election Report by a Specific-Purpose Committee Supporting or Opposing Certain Candidates

(a) A special pre-election report shall be filed electronically as required by §254.036, Election Code, unless a report is exempt from electronic filing. A special pre-election report that is exempt from electronic filing under §254.036(c), Election Code, is not required to be on a form prescribed by the commission.(b) A special pre-election report shall include the following information:(1) the full name of the specific-purpose committee;(2) the full name of the campaign treasurer;(3) the name of the person making a contribution or contributions that triggered the requirement to file a special pre-election report;(4) the address of the person making the contribution or contributions;(5) the amount of each contribution;(6) the date each contribution was accepted; and(7) a description of any in-kind contribution.
