SECTION/RULE §60.209 - Unallowable Costs

(a) OAG grant funds may not be used for the following:(1) to pay for lobbying;(2) to purchase food and beverages except as allowed under Texas State Travel Guidelines;(3) to purchase or lease vehicles;(4) to purchase promotional items or recreational activities;(5) to pay for travel that is unrelated to the direct delivery of services that supports the OAG funded program;(6) to pay consultants or vendors who participate directly in writing a grant application; or(7) any unallowable costs set forth in state or federal cost principles.(b) Funds may not be used to purchase any other products or services the OAG identifies as inappropriate or unallowable within the RFA or the Application Kit.
