(a) The Texas Register publishes 52 issues yearly, excluding indexes. Friday is the day of publication. (b) Rule filing deadline: 12:00 noon, Monday, the week before publication. Miscellaneous document filing deadline: 12:00 noon, Wednesday, the week before publication. When a state holiday falls on Monday or Wednesday, the deadline will be the day before Monday or Wednesday that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or state holiday. (c) We will post the publication schedule on our web site. We will notify agencies in advance of any changes that occur in the deadline and publication schedule by publishing a notice in the "In Addition" section of the Texas Register.
