SECTION/RULE §95.107 - Overpayment and Underpayment Policies

(a) Overpayment. The filing officer shall refund the amount of an overpayment exceeding $5 to the Remitter. The filing officer shall accrue the amount of the overpayment to the prepaid account if the overpayment is less than $5. This amount may be refunded only upon the written request of the Remitter.(b) Underpayment. Upon receipt of a UCC record with an insufficient fee, the filing officer shall do the following: The UCC record and fee shall be returned to the Remitter as provided in §95.203 of this title (relating to Procedure Upon Refusal).
