The Commission operates a Small Contractor Participation Assistance Program as set forth in Texas Government Code, §2166.258. In the process of developing detailed operating procedures to implement a program in compliance with Texas Government Code, §2166.258, the Commission may contract with insurance company(ies), surety company(ies), agent(s), broker(s), or other public or private entities to provide surety technical assistance services for the benefit of small and historically underutilized businesses.
