SECTION/RULE §100.61 - Definitions

The following terms have the following meanings when used in this subchapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:(1) Client--A patient, consumer, or any other person receiving care or services from a health professional.(2) Health professional--A person holding a license issued by the department in a program listed in §100.60(a) of this chapter.(3) In-person--The health professional is physically present with the client while performing an act or service within the health professional's scope of practice.(4) Telehealth service--A health service delivered by a health professional acting within the scope of the health professional's license to a client at a different physical location than the health professional using telecommunications or information technology.
