(a) A health professional may complete any continuing education requirements through remote continuing education, if permitted by applicable federal and state law and the department rules governing the health professional's licensure.(b) A health professional who uses remote continuing education in a manner intended to falsely represent the completion of licensure requirements may be subject to disciplinary sanction, including denial or revocation of licensure.
