SECTION/RULE §111.1 - Authority and Applicability

(a) This chapter is promulgated under the authority of the Texas Occupations Code, Chapters 51 and 401, and Chapter 402 as applicable. Specific provisions within this chapter also implement the statutory requirements under Texas Occupations Code, Chapters 53, 108, 111, 112, and 116.(b) In addition to this chapter, the rules under 16 TAC Chapter 60, Procedural Rules of the Commission and the Department, and 16 TAC Chapter 100, General Provisions for Health-Related Programs, are applicable to the Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists program.
