SECTION/RULE §114.22 - Examination for Licensure as a Prosthetist, Orthotist, or Prosthetist/Orthotist

(a) Except as provided by §114.23, an applicant must pass a competency examination to qualify for a practitioner license.(b) Each applicant for initial licensure shall complete the jurisprudence examination.(c) Examinations shall be offered by the department's designee.(d) The department shall notify an applicant whose license application has been approved that the applicant is eligible to take the relevant examination(s).(e) Approved applicants shall have no more than two years from the date of approval to pass the required examination(s).(f) The examinations shall be administered at least once each year.
