SECTION/RULE §117.65 - Massage School Conduct and Grievance Policy

A massage school shall develop and implement a written policy pertaining to the conduct of students, including a grievance policy. The policy shall:(1) include conditions for dismissal;(2) include conditions for re-entrance of those students dismissed for violating the conduct policy;(3) attempt to resolve disputes between students, including drops and graduates, and the school or instructor;(4) require that adequate records be maintained of grievances and resolutions;(5) require that every effort to resolve grievances and complaints is made; and(6) prohibit a massage school from disciplining or retaliating against a student for filing a complaint with the department.
