(a) A person's certification status by a certifying entity does not affect the applicability of the Act to that person's activities under §§506.051 - 506.059 of the Act.(b) A person who is no longer eligible for an exemption under §§506.051 - 506.059 of the Act must become certified by a certifying entity approved by the department and obtain a license under this chapter to continue to provide services.
