(a) Proprietary auction schools having a Certificate of Approval issued by the Texas Workforce Commission may obtain department approval by submitting an application for Auction School Registration along with the certification and payment of the curriculum review fee.(b) Other auction schools submitting an application for Auction School Registration will be reviewed on a case by case basis to assure that licensing applicants presenting credentials from the schools will have completed at least 80 hours of classroom instruction in courses relating to auctions.
