SECTION/RULE §75.27 - Technician Registration Requirements--Initial Application

(a) To obtain a technician registration, an applicant must:(1) submit a completed application on a department-approved form; and(2) submit the required fee.(b) The term of an air conditioning and refrigeration technician's registration is one year.(c) A registration is not transferable.(d) An applicant for registration as an air conditioning and refrigeration technician will be issued a temporary registration that is valid for 21 days if the applicant:(1) has not been convicted of a criminal offense, or been placed on deferred adjudication; and(2) pays the required fee.
