SECTION/RULE §83.65 - Barbering and Cosmetology Advisory Board

(a) The purpose of the Barbering and Cosmetology Advisory Board is to advise the Commission and department on:(1) education and curricula for applicants;(2) the content of examinations;(3) proposed rules and standards on technical issues related to barbering and cosmetology; and(4) other issues affecting barbering and cosmetology.(b) The board is composed of nine persons as specified in the Act. Board members will serve staggered six-year terms.
