SECTION/RULE §309.160 - Vendors

(a) An association may not permit the sale of food, animal feed, medication, or equipment in the stable or kennel area by a vendor or vendor employee who is not properly licensed by the Commission.(b) An association shall supervise the operations on association grounds of a vendor of food, animal feed, medication, or equipment in the stable or kennel area.(c) An association may not grant an exclusive concession to a vendor of animal feed, racing supplies, or racing services. An association may not control or monopolize the sale of goods to employees who work in the stable or kennel area.(d) A vendor of an animal feed or medication shall file with the Commission veterinarian a list of products that the vendor proposes to sell on association grounds. The Commission veterinarian shall inform the vendor if the list includes any products which are known to be prohibited from being possessed on association grounds.
