SECTION/RULE §309.253 - Postmortem

(a) An association shall provide a postmortem area.(b) The area must be located in a secluded area and must allow access by an equine ambulance.(c) The area must be equipped with:(1) a cover;(2) a concrete or asphalt slab with a rough finish;(3) adequate drainage; and(4) hot and cold water and a hose.(d) An association shall provide services for the disposal of a horse that dies at the racetrack.
