SECTION/RULE §311.8 - Correction of Incorrect Information

(a) Pursuant to Government Code, Chapter 559, an individual about whom the Commission collects information is entitled to review that information in accordance with Government Code, Chapter 552.(b) If after reviewing the information the individual believes the Commission has collected incorrect information, the individual may file with the executive secretary a request to correct the information. The request must:(1) be in writing;(2) specify the information that is incorrect; and(3) provide reasonable proof of the corrected information.(c) If the executive secretary determines the Commission has collected incorrect information about the individual, the executive secretary shall correct the information.
