SECTION/RULE §313.161 - Responsibility for Correct Weight

(a) The trainer of a horse entered in a race shall ensure that the horse carries the correct weight for that race.(b) Weight penalties are obligatory. Weight allowances other than a sex allowance in a thoroughbred race are optional.
