(a) After the race, each jockey shall return the horse to the finish, salute the stewards, and receive permission of the stewards to dismount.(b) Except on the permission of the stewards, a jockey may not permit another person to assist the jockey in removing the equipment that is included in the jockey's weight.(c) Immediately on dismount and removal of equipment, the jockey shall go to the clerk of the scales to weigh in.
