(a) An objection regarding a race, other than the actual running of the race, must be made by an owner, kennel owner or trainer of a greyhound engaged in the race, or an official. An objection must be made to the racing judges, who may require that the objection be made in writing with a copy sent immediately to the executive secretary.(b) Except as otherwise provided by this subsection, an objection must be made to the racing judges not later than 72 hours after the race is run. An objection to a decision of the clerk of scales must be made before the greyhounds leave the paddock for the post.(c) Pending a decision on an objection, any money or prize to which a greyhound that is the subject of the objection would be entitled shall be held until the objection is decided.
