(a) Display and verification of the accurate off time and start of a race is critical. To ensure accurate verification of off time with the close of betting on all races, the association shall ensure:(1) Tote times shall be synchronized to an atomic clock on a start-of-day basis.(2) Source video signal shall be synchronized with the atomic clock.(3) The time of day shall be displayed at the start of the race in the HR:MN:SC format.(b) Security system video, which monitors mutuel lines, shall be synchronized with the atomic clock.
