(a) This subchapter establishes the criteria, procedures, and standards of conduct governing the relationship between the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (Board) and its officers and employees and private donors and private organizations that exist to further the duties and purposes of the Board. This subchapter sets out the Board's process for acceptance of gifts and donations.(b) The purpose of this subchapter is to comply with the provisions of Texas Government Code chapters 575 and 2255.001 and implement the provisions of chapter 61 of the Texas Education Code authorizing the Board to accept gifts and donations.
