(a) Authority. Statutory authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2110, §2110.0012.(b) Purposes. The Lower-Division Academic Course Guide Manual Advisory Committee is created to provide the Board with advice and recommendation(s) regarding new disciplines of study, developments within existing disciplines represented by courses in the manual, vertical and horizontal alignment of courses within disciplines, and obsolesces of disciplines of study and courses.
