SECTION/RULE §22.225 - Authority and Purpose

(a) Authority. Authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Education Code, Chapter 56, Subchapter M, Toward EXcellence, Access and Success (TEXAS) Grant Program. This subchapter establishes procedures to administer Texas Education Code, §§56.301 - 56.311.(b) Purpose. The purpose of this program is to provide need-based grants of money to enable eligible students to attend eligible public institutions of higher education in this state.
