SECTION/RULE §22.253 - Authority and Purpose

(a) Authority. Authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Education Code, Chapter 56, Subchapter P, Texas Educational Opportunity Grant Program. This subchapter establishes procedures to administer Texas Education Code §§56.401 - 56.4075.(b) Purpose. The purpose of this program is to provide need-based grants to enable eligible students to attend public two-year institutions of higher education in this state.
