SECTION/RULE §22.340 - Deceased or Disabled Borrowers

(a) All loans through the Texas B-On-Time Loan Program are discharged in the event of the borrower's death or permanent and total disability.(b) Verification of death, and determination of permanent and total disability of a borrower through the Texas B-On-Time Loan Program, shall be made in accordance with student loan industry standards.(c) The final determination of permanent and total disability of a borrower shall be made by the Commissioner.
