SECTION/RULE §22.677 - Provisions for Disability and Death

The Board shall cancel a recipient's repayment or service obligation if it determines:(1) on the basis of a sworn affidavit of a qualified physician, that the recipient is unable to teach full-time because the recipient is permanently, totally disabled;(2) on the basis of a death certificate, that the recipient has died; in the case of death, the Board may pursue collection from the recipient's estate if the debt has been reduced to judgment before the death of the recipient.
