SECTION/RULE §26.202 - Definitions

The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings:(1) Board--The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.(2) Commissioner--The Commissioner of Higher Education, the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.(3) Program of Study Curricula--The block of courses which progress in content specificity by beginning with all aspects of an industry or career cluster and incorporate rigorous college and career readiness standards, including career and technical education standards that address both academic and technical content which incorporate multiple entry and exit points with portable demonstrations of technical or career competency, which may include credit transfer agreements or industry-recognized certifications.(4) Institutions of Higher Education--As defined in Texas Education Code, §61.003(2) and (7).
