The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:(1) Institution of Higher Education or Institution--Any public technical institute, public junior college, public senior college or university, medical or dental unit or other agency of higher education as defined in Texas Education Code, §61.003(8).(2) "University-affiliated bookstore"--A bookstore that:(A) sells textbooks for courses offered by an institution of higher education, regardless of whether the bookstore is located on the campus of the institution;(B) is operated by or with the approval of the institution through ownership, a management agreement, a lease or rental agreement, or otherwise; and(C) for the purposes of this subchapter, a "university-affiliated bookstore" also includes a bookstore similarly affiliated with any public institution of higher education as defined in paragraph (1) of this section.
