SECTION/RULE §8.100 - Action and Order of the Board

(a) Board action on the request for approval to hold an election to levy a branch campus maintenance tax shall be taken at the next quarterly Board meeting. In making its decision, the Board shall consider the needs of the community/junior college and the district, the needs of the community or communities served by the branch campus maintenance tax jurisdiction, and the welfare of the state as a whole.(b) A resolution shall be entered in the minutes of the Board and conveyed in writing by the Commissioner to the governing board of the community/junior college district.
