SECTION/RULE §9.141 - Purpose

(a) The Coordinating Board encourages and supports partnerships between secondary schools and public two-year colleges including such initiatives as Tech-Prep and dual credit which allow secondary students to receive both high school and college-level credit for college-level courses.(b) The purpose of this subchapter shall be to provide rules and regulations for partnership initiatives with secondary schools that are unique to public two-year colleges. Rules for partnerships that concern dual credit may be found in Chapter 4, Subchapter D of this title (relating to Dual Credit Partnerships Between Secondary Schools and Texas Public Colleges).
