(a) Each school district and charter school shall adopt a written policy consistent with §70.1035 of this title (relating to Rights Concerning the Texas Virtual School Network) that provides students enrolled in the school district or charter school with the opportunity to enroll in courses provided through the Texas Virtual School Network statewide course catalog.(b) A school district or charter school shall, at least once per school year, send to a parent of each student enrolled at the middle or high school level a copy of the policy adopted under this section. A district or charter school may send the policy with any other information that the district or charter school sends to a parent.
