SECTION/RULE §231.153 - American Sign Language, Grades 9-12

(a) An assignment for American Sign Language, Levels I-IV, Grades 9-12, or American Sign Language, Advanced Independent Study is allowed with one of the following certificates.(1) American Sign Language.(2) American Sign Language: Early Childhood-Grade 12.(b) The Texas Assessment of Sign Communication-American Sign Language (TASC-ASL) is required for an American Sign Language assignment.
